Vomiting and Diarrhea?

And he doesn't want to eat. He's barely eaten at all since he got up. But he's vomited once and had 3 rounds of diarrhea. I gave him some gripe water which seemed to settle his stomach, but he's not interested in eating.

Any ideas? I can give him something other than BM if it'll help, but not sure what would help... we drink ginger ale, but I'm not going to give that to my 7 mo, ya know.

It's the season for rota virus (my kids had it in Feb and March, respectively). Or it could just be a run of the mill tummy virus. Poor guy!

I'd just wait it out. Use a dropper to get small amounts of water or breastmilk in him so he doesn't dehydrated. Pay attention to wet diapers, if more than 6-8 hours go by, call the dr.

The main thing is to keep him hydrated. Gosh, first the teeth and now the tummy. Poor little guy!

Breastmilk is the best thing for him.
