Mine looooves black beans. So far it's probably her #1 favorite. She also loves brown rice puffs (natural cereal she can pick up with her fingers.)

Tell me your LO's favorites...I need some new ideas that hopefully she will love.

How funny- my ds LOVES his rice puffs, and really likes black beans. I think his favorites are pears, apples, and rice snacks (like rice cakes, but smaller). Oh, and chicken- he can put away some chicken.

Hummus. Homemade. By spoon or on a slice of bread....he loves the stuff.

My DD LOVES tomatoes, kidney beans, watermelon and gnocchi with red sauce.

Mine's newest fav is kiwi! He also loves any kind of bread, bananas and applesauce. Just a classic babe. Although he also seems to really like Indian food. We don't have it a lot, but when we do, he scarfs it down!

DD's favourite, hands down, is cheese. To the point where it has to be out of sight so she will eat other things.

She also loves grapes, cucumber, broccoli, and mushy refried beans.

She does love rice crackers but I try to minimize them since they're really just empty filler food.

Mandarins. He loves em. It's the only food so far that he's asked for more.

Meat of any kind. He loves it. If I'm not vigilant, he'll hide little pieces in his cheeks and pop them out later to chew/gum on. He also is a fan of asparagus, pears, peppers (but only red), and prunes (cooked, pureed and mixed into other stuff). I think that he would eat anything that had prunes mixed in.

Asparagus! He loves it steamed and roasted, and this weekend we're going to try it grilled.

Beans too--black, pinto, chickpeas, whatever. Also rice--I squeeze it into balls to make it easier for him to pick up, and he loves it! Raisins and bread are favorites, as well as (sigh) apples and popcorn. He really goes for the choking hazard foods and seems to have no problem eating them. He's a year now and has seven teeth and loves to bite into a whole apple.

DD went through a blueberry phase when she was about 9 months old. Seriously, I think it was all she ate for about 2 weeks. It made for some interesting diapers! Now at 17 months they are still one of her very favorite foods - it's the one thing she will never throw.

Mr. loves pumpkins mixed with pears. He goes nuts!

Cheerios. I have at times snuck other food under a cheerio just to get it in him. He'll eat a lot of different food, but he will come running for a cheerio and try to rip it out of my hand.

Black olives! Wyatt will eat black olives even if he's not hungry. He even puts them on his fingers now...so cute!

Is "everything" too vague of an answer?

Let's see, his current favorites are guacamole, blueberries, bananas, meatballs, and cheese. He used to love hummus, but I think I gave it to him too often and he doesn't like it as much now.

That is so funny b/c hummus is the one food that DD will NOT eat. As soon as it gets in her mouth she starts going "bttthhhttt" and wiping her tongue off with her hands.

On the other hand, she can't get enough of the following: falafel, spicy curry and rice, a whole apple or banana (but no safe little pieces, thankyouverymuch), cheese, spaghetti, and Grandma's vegetarian lasagna (I think that's her hands-down favorite). We can pretty much guarantee that she'll always eat peas, strawberries, and Cheerios, too.
