help me cook wild rabbit!

So i got some frozen wild rabbit from the farmers market (not a whole one, it seems to be a leg i think, though havnt looked at it properly)
I know wild rabbit is pretty lean and can be tough to cook and i've never cooked it before, so how do i do it?! any help/tips would be appreciated!

Braise it! Throw a little water or broth in a large pot, add some aromatic veggies and toss in your rabbit. Cook at 300 for 2-3 hours.

Yep, this is how my mom cooks her rabbits. Slow and moist, and they are always falling off the bone tender.

Braising is probably the best way to cook it. Brown it, then put it in an ovenproof dish with some wine (red or white, not sweet), some olive oil, some garlic, and some herbs. You could also surround it with cut root vegetables like sweet potatoes, white potatoes, and carrots.
Rabbit is sooo yummy!

Another good combo is onions, slices mushrooms, potatoes, and a sauce made with half&half, heavy cream, brandy/calvados (or whatever liquor you like), tarragon, parsley, garlic, and black pepper.
