The last time I dealt with an OB was over 8 years ago with my first and it forever soured me on most OBs; however, I find myself having to do one this time. I went with a midwife with my second, but insurance won't cover and we need no more debt
.
So, I'm going for a VBAC and this doc is notoriously awesome for that purpose, so no worries there. I'm also 37 and of "advanced" age you know?
So, what should I expect by way of high risk garbage and what not? I'm healthy with no medical issues.
I plan to refuse every test they have like GTT, amino, afp, pap, etc (except u/s) and am also curious how that's going to go over LOL. What are my rights exactly? I really like the midwife way and this is culture shock LOL.
Thanks!
