Help! (did I totally mess up my broth?)

Ok, so yesterday I bought two packages of frozen chicken bones/backs at the co-op. I took them out of the packages, put them (still frozen) into my stockpot w/ water and a bit of cider vinegar, and put the pot back in the fridge overnight. When I got home from work today I took it out, put it on the stove, and removed the lid to find...

blood?

I've never made broth w/ raw chicken, only w/ the carcass from a roasted chicken, so I have no idea if this is normal. The water hasn't come to a simmer yet, but it is distinctly um... reddish.

I realized I didn't rinse the carcasses or anything before I put them in the water.

Have I totally ruined this, or can I just go ahead and make my broth?
Please advise!

Make yer broth! You're fine. The blood was released because it was at fridge-temp for a long time. Just like if you thaw a whole chicken in the fridge, it releases blood.
