Ecofriendly flea and tick control

Has anyone tried EcoPure Naturals? I have a new (now indoor only) kitty who has a lovely tick on his neck....he lived on a farm prior to coming to our home today! I want to get rid of said tick and any others with something natural.....suggestions?

If he's now an indoor only cat the chances of him ever getting a tick again are practically zero.

As far as getting rid of the tick on his neck... Be brave, grasp it firmly (be very brave) as close to the skin as possible (not it's disgusting little fat body, right up where it's head enters the skin) and pull HARD. Then wrap it in toilet paper and flush that sucker

Treat any others that might be attached but still small the same as they swell up. Check all his little nooks and cranies (ticks like to embed their repulsive little selves where the animal can't reach to bite them out)

Ticks give me the willies.

You'd think after living in the west coast Highlands of Scotland for years, with deer and sheep roaming in the garden I'd have gotten used to them. I've pulled hundreds out myself and cats (and once my husbands scrotum, although that's a tale for another time)

Oh man, the poor little guy has loose ticks too. We found one imbedded on my dd's neck and 2 just crawling around his fur. I can't bring myself to use insecticides so we're just vacuuming and checking everyone everyday for ticks. ...fun! DH is going to give him a bath tonight with EcoPure.

Pull it is the most eco-friendly
grasp firmly close to the skin pull while twisting.

I have been pulling ticks of my dogs.Better them than me although I did get one crawling on me. Did you know a female can lay 4,000 eggs at a time?!?!!? And the nymphs can go 538 days without food?!??!

I have done the permi dips. That stuff is made from flowers.Still had to pick off ticks. There are sprays with oils.I have rubbed tea tree oil on the dogs after a bath.So far no more ticks, but I bet there will be more. Can't be this easy to get rid of them. I check daily and the dogs think they are getting a good massage until the tweezers come out...then they run.

I would add something to the cracks in the house where the cat is.Borax, boric acid,or food grade DE(diam. earth). You don't want 4k ticks in the house!

If you find something that works good post it!

I use tweezers, but ordered the 2 pack tick twister that pops off small to large ticks.Dogs wiggle to much with the tweez and I can't blame them when I am pulling off hairs and skin, lol.
