Oral-motor therapy evaluation?

Has anyone else had an oral-motor therapy evaluation for breastfeeding issues? My LC has referred me to one, and I'm really curious about what's involved.

You could be seen by a speech pathologist or an occupational therapist, either of whom should specialize in oral-motor/feeding therapy. A therapist can assess the baby's sucking, suck-swallow-breathe coordination, general muscle tone for feeding, oral structures, ability to latch, positioning, etc. Hope it goes well!
