Safe to give Nux Vomica to 14mo?

Not sure if this is the right place to post about this homeopathic remedy but I've got a 14mo ds who has been throwing up about every 2-3 hours for 24 hours now. He's not acting sick in other ways and his cousins have this same thing - diarrhea and vomiting but still in a relatively good mood (no lethargy/listlessness or fever). I went to Whole Foods today and asked about a homeopathic remedy and the woman sold me this - Nux Vomica. I'm not able to find much info about giving it to a young toddler so I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with it - or is there another remedy that might be better?

TIA!

IMO I think homeopathics are safe even for an infant. I have never used Nux Vomica before but I would feel very confident using Homeopathics with DD at any point

No problem giving Nux or a remedy to a 14mo. You can dissolve the pellet in water and give your son a teaspoon of that water--he doesn't have to drink it all and you can simply cover and use again for the next dose if another is needed. You can also crush the remedy between two clean spoons and "feed" it to your son as you would anything else. [They taste sweet.] Hard to say, though, if Nux is the right remedy as so many other factors go along with such a decision, like how your son is acting, is he cold/hot, etc etc. Nux does go along with tummy troubles, but often ones like indigestion or overeating. Do you have a homeopath or naturopath you could contact? I guess hydration is your biggest goal at this point... Hope he's better soon!
