What math is your public school kindy student learning?

The title of the post pretty much says it all. I'm just curious if your child is in a public school kindergarten, what math are they learning and how do they teach it?

All of the public schools in this area use Everyday Mathematics, which is quite a bit different than what my kids are learning in a private school. The curriculum at our school is Sadlier-Oxford Progress in Mathematics. I like it and my kids are doing well.

I have many friends in our public schools here locally and I know quite a bit about Everyday Math. I have mixed feelings about it.

Right now DD is learning place value (using cubes, rods, and blocks), telling time to the 1/2 hour, and addition and subtraction of single digit numbers. They use the Everyday Math curriculum at her school.

I know in our state you can find the state standards by subject and grade online. That would be one way to compare. GA Performance Standards.
