Guess your baby's birth weight!

Just for fun. What does your intuition tell you? What do you predict based on family history?

I'm guessing around 9 pounds. Egad.....

Fun! Okay, I'm guessing 6 1/2 lbs if we schedule my c-sec 2 wks early...7lbs if we schedule 1 wk early, and 7 1/2 lbs if she's born on or near her due date.

I was 6lbs at birth, myself, and I'm pretty tiny.

I make medium-sized babies (6-12 to 7-14) although this one feels BIG to me. I'm going to guess he'll be in the high 7's, low 8's. If he breaks 8 he will be my biggest ever.

I was 7-4, dh was 7-0. I don't place a lot of stock in that though as we were both gestated when our mothers were not 'allowed' to gain more than 5-10 lbs. My mother gained 5lbs with each of her three pregnancies.

This baby feels BIG to me.... I'm thinking 7 1/2 to 8. Kairo was 6 lbs 5 oz but came at 37 weeks. The twins were both just over 5 lbs but that adds up! I think they created a little more growing room in there.

ummm I am thinking around 7 1/2 - 8 pounds. Ds1 was 7.1, dd was 7 and ds2 was 7.13.This one does feel bigger that my other babies.

I'm thinking 9 lbs 2 oz. But if this is another girl and wants to be like her sisters, she will be 8 lbs 2 oz (both my girls weighed exactly the same!).

I am guessing 8 lb 8 oz if he goes to term. DS was 8 lb 4 oz. At the u/s this weekend, LO was just over 4 lb and I have 8 weeks to go. Honestly, hoping I keep it down to 1/2 lb a week gain!

I was just asking my mom about my weight, which was 7lb7oz. I am going to guess my baby will be the same. Apparently my mom asked in her birthing class what the average weight was...she was told 7lb7oz! Of course that was 25 years ago and might be different now...

I'm going for 9lbs even. DD was 7lbs14.5oz, but this LO feels a little bigger. I'm kind of hoping for a biggish baby i can actually push out too, since i only had a 5min 2nds stage with DD and only got to push once...

DH and I were both around 7.7, DS was 6.14.

I'm guessing 7.1 for DS2. He feels alot bigger than DS1 but my midwife feels like he's on track to be another tiny one. So we'll see.

I shudder to say this but since dd was 9 lbs, 1 oz and this is a boy and feels big to me, I am thinking around 9 lbs, 5 oz. I wouldn't be sad if he is smaller but I have to admit, other than delivery, I like having big babies. Everyone else's predictions seem so much smaller than mine!

DD was 6pd 11oz at 40 weeks. I'm saying 7pd 2oz for this one.

I could be wrong. DD was 9 1/2 lbs, but she has a different dad.

Still... stepDS was only in the low 7s and my XH had a baby with his current wife last April and he was in the mid-7s. So there is no way to connect DD's baby-bigness to my XH, or to think that my DH is going to make Caleb "BIG".

However, my gut tells me that I just make big babies. My sister makes them big too (10 lbs 11 oz & 9 lbs 13 oz).

I guess we'll see!!!!

My guess is 7#5oz. That's based on my prediction that I will go 10 days early, June 20. DD1 was 8#14oz at 41.5 weeks, ds was 6#10oz. at 37.5 weeks, dd2 was 7#1oz. at 38 weeks.

I'm guessing around 9 1/2 lbs if I go to 40-ish weeks, this one doesn't feel really big. DS was 8 lb 3 oz, DD1 was 10 lbs and DD2 was 9 lb 9 oz at 38 weeks. My MW asked at my appointment today, and I said somewhere between 8-10 lbs.

I'm thinking close to 10 lbs if I go 40 weeks or more. DS was over 9 and 1/2 pounds, and so far this baby's been very good sized at all my ultrasounds (I've had several due to complications). Last time I was nervous about having a bigger baby, but it went well, so this time I'm okay with it (and actually really happy since this baby's size kind of rules out certain chromosomal abnormalities that I was initially told were possibilities).

I'm going to guess around 7lbs 6oz...maybe a little more. I was 6lbs 9oz, DH was about 5lbs. DD was 6lbs 10oz, DS1 was 6lbs 15oz and DS2 was 7lbs even.

I'd guess between 8lbs if he/she comes early, and over 9 if 40 weeks or later. My DD1 was 8lb 10oz at 39 weeks and DD2 was 9lbs 2oz at 41 weeks

I'll guess 7 lbs. 6 oz. for this baby girl. My DS was 7 lbs. 1 oz. at 41 weeks and DD was 8 lbs. 1 oz. at 39 weeks. I've been so sick this time, I doubt Stella will surpass my first DD's weight.
