Pillowcases for decorating?

DD is turning 9 next month and we are planning a 'mock' sleepover party. I thought it would be fun for the girls to decorate a pillowcase to bring home. The cheapest I can find is at walmart and they are 2 for $5.50. I was hoping to find them cheaper somewhere else. Any suggestions? I have also thought of sewing them myself but am feeling too lazy to do that. I'll need 12-14 pillowcases. TIA!

Well, since they are decorating them anyway how about various colors etc from the thrift store (washed and santized of course).

Sometimes I can find a deal at TJMaxx or Marshalls in the clearance area but it sounds like you need ALOT of pillowcases.

IDK if you need them all to match or not so maybe the thrift wouldnt work??

I would also ask the store you decide to buy from for an extra discount since you are buying so many. It never hurts to ask, ya know. An extra 5-10% would at least cover the tax. Have a great party!
