Is anyone else fretting over school board elections today? I'm not sure if other towns have them on the same day or if it varies from place to place.
It's a huge deal in our town right now b/c a bunch of people who use private schools are trying to get on to the board, just so they can slash the budget and lower taxes
. I'm all for people having the right to send their own kids to private school, I just don't want them running the public school board.
I'm so worried about this. The group with their kids in private schools are better organized and better funded than the people in town who use the public schools.
