Animal control will not come onto private property so "B" needs to be moved to the curb. This is a residential neighborhood so I have no idea how that works. Of course these are city lots in the desert so every yard is brick fenced in and "B" is the farthest point from the gate.

This is why I won't own any pets..that live on land! lol

Update: the dog has been packaged for pick up. The police came and moved her to the curb. A message has been left for animal control. I hope a/c comes tonight or early tomorrow. Kids walk by here on the way to school, not to mention its HOT here.
Today was stressful all around. Im glad I had a pre-scheduled therapy appt this evening. The puppy (all 75 lbs of her) still wont leave the patio. poor thing |
| Pets can also suffer from excessive heat. Make sure your pets have adequate drinking water and a shady place to rest. |

Yup.
I'm a bit shocked and sad that the dog was left to die in 90 degree heat in the first place. Can I ask why she didn't have him/her put down? I hate to think of an innocent animal suffering like that. Poor dog, I hope you can stomach it enough to at least go out there and cover her up until you can get more help. |
