she's finally here!!

So much to report but running on 4 hrs of sleep since saturday morning. Just got home from the hospital, where the beautiful Symphony Susanna Rose R_____ was born Sunday April 18th, 2010, at 12:35pm. Baby is beautiful and healthy and a champ nurser . 6 pounds 2 ounces, 19.7 inches long. Labor was long and difficult, ended up with an epidural after 17 or so hours, baby was pushed out easily but covered in meconium, placenta was stubborn, and then I had to have emergency surgery due to an extremely painful vaginal hematoma... and I want to really write about the whole journey, and decompress. But first, rest.
