This is the easiest, quickest sweater that I have knitted... It makes a great gift with the little boy blue hat mentioned earlier

i want to start knitting too. But I want to wait until my doc appt at week 10 before going forward. Plus, I have been so tired after work, that is making it impossible to sit down and knit...

I plan on knitting, once i am reassured baby will be OK. I only learned to knit while pregnant with my son, a little over a year ago. I have never had to knit super cute, newborn longies.... I cant wait! and i have so much yarn! YAY! once i use it up, i can get more!

I've done 4 hats! It's the perfect baby hat on Ralvery, it's super quick. I think I'm going to try a soaker next. I taught myself the magic loop knitting because I don't have any DPN. I hope that will work for a soaker too. I'm posting pics to Ralvery and I'll go join the group there!

I am working on washcloth #2 right now. I am using seed stitch, which is driving me just a little nuts, but I like the nubby-ness of what will be the washcloth. I just don't like knit/perl/knit/perl... so tedious!

I'd like to knit booties with the book I have, but I can't FIND it anywhere... I have TONS of books and WHO knows where this book is... it's such a great crafting book with all baby knits... hats, blankets, soft cubes, booties... SO great, but I can't find it!!! Grrrr

If I find it, I'll start on booties and post some pics as I go. The nice thing about making them is that once you've made the first one, the second goes so much easier!

Those are precious, your baby is going to look so cute and bundled up! I love the way the colors pooled on that last set of longies. What kind of yarns did you use? So cute!!!

Wildecat, those are gorgeous!

What pattern did you use for the longies with the cable pocket? I have done a couple of the Punk Knitters soakers and I'm working on a hooded blanket right now (plus a little drawstring bag for my DD to store the knitting tower and little skein of yarn we got her for her birthday), but those just gave me the bug to get some longies done.

I just joined. I'm new to knitting. Actually just got my wool and circular knitting needle set from knitpicks. I had grabbed a skein of wool from Hobby lobby and started a sleep sack. Just about done with it now.

Eviepants pattern looks great and I have seen much of her work and she is a fabulous knitter...

Wildecat- Those are super cute! I love knitting baby stuff. My favorite thing so far has been this sweater I made for my lil guy. Can't wait to see him in it once he gets here!

Kinda DDCC, because I'm "officially" due early January, but based on past births, will deliver in December...

I'm so jealous!  All of the things you are making are beautiful! 

I wonder how long it would take me, a beginner, to get up to speed enough to make a wool soaker?  I'm 33 weeks.  Think I have enough time?
