Unsweetened Cheerio substitute for 1 yr old?

My baby is 7 1/2 months and has been EBF until last week, when I gave her ripe pear. This week, banana At the end of August, we'll be going on a long trip. She'll still be primarily breastfed at that point, but I was thinking it would be convenient to be able to take the "tupperware of Cheerios." I looked in the organic section of the supermarket, but even the best brands had at least some kind of sweetener, whether it was sugar, honey, agave, juice, etc. I think my baby doesn't need the "Cheerios" to be sweetened. I won't be giving it to her routinely, but I'd like to have a convenience food I can feel good about. Any suggestions?

I think that all cereal has some amount of sugar in it, but I would just go with the Cheerios. The amount of sugar is minimal.

We use Whole Foods Morning 'O's. They are organic, whole grain and are completely unsweetened.

Thanks! I was able to find the plain rice puffs. Does anyone have an online source for Whole Foods?

wow, scary information on how they make extruded cereals, even the healthy ones don't sound safe according to the article.
