We're in a much better place now sleep wise - ds even slept through the night for the first time ever two nights ago (and I mean the 12 hour definition! )

However...I'm worse than ever. I've always had difficulty sleeping but now it's reached fever pitch. It takes me 1-2 hours to fall asleep and I wake up every 1-2 hours and often can't fall back asleep again. I'm going to acupuncture which has helped me in the past and drinking chamomile but it's just not cutting it.

Melatonin is my last step before getting some serious sleep meds. I understand you can take it for a short while to see if it will reset your natural melatonin levels. I've read before that some mamas on here have taken it - would love to know what amounts you took and for how long.
