Whats wrong with my breast pump! Need milk for the morning!

I sat down to pump milk cause Ill be away all day tomorrow and my electric pump isn't working! It worked great last time,but lazy me left it on the floor and wondering if dd did something. I can hear the suction in the cord but feel no pull when i put it to my breast. Nothing happens when I change the speed. I wonder if there is a little leak around a seal or in the other valve that is preventing the suction. Oh man , what am i gonna do? Have to leave the house by 8 am and no back up milk in the freezer. What was i thinking!

Sounds like it could be a hose leak. Try putting it under water and blowing on one end, and see if bubbles come out anywhere other than the end (then clean it, of course ).

If it *IS* a leak, you can clip it just this side of the leak, and just have a really short hose, or try duct tape.
