Yuck! DS decided months ago to go sock-less. He has autism and a lot of sensory issues so he goes through phases where different clothes are offensive to him and he stops wearing them. When he first stopped wearing socks he was wearing rain boots. Those started stinking *real* quick, so we had to make the (huge) transition to different shoes. We finally got him wearing Dawson crocs (which have fuzz inside to keep his feet warm since that was during the winter). Before long, those started stinking sooooo bad. When he got in the car after school I would literally have to fight back the gagging. So we finally transitioned him (another huge transition) to Teton crocs a few weeks ago. Now those are stinking really bad too. He walks in the house and stinks up the whole darn house! I never knew one little boy could stink so much! LOL! I wasn't prepared for this until the teen years
He gets a bath or shower every night but afterwards there is still a slight odor.
What the heck do I do for the shoes and his feet? We've tried spraying his shoes with febreeze at night but it doesn't seem to help much.
