Ohio notification- can you look this over?

I'm starting to work on our notification for next school year (we like getting things over with early like this so that when we need it, its already done and just needs printed out and dropped off) Anyway, I'm trying to create my notification so that its fairly vague and general so it doesn't limit us too much, while at the same time giving enough information to keep the district off my back (although the hs dept. lady is really relaxed about what notification has in it from what I've heard from unschoolers) The curriculum outline is what I am unsure on, as it just sounds so vague and general. Can you look it over and give input please?

Here it is:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Curriculum Outline
a) language arts, reading, spelling, writing: we will focus this year on gaining and expanding reading skills and working on writing letters and stories
b) geography, history, government: we will explore world cultures and geography
c) mathematics: miquon math
d) science: we will explore various general science topics as determined by our children, including- but not limited to- astronomy and biology
e) health: this is considered a life skill, and will be treated as such through everyday instruction on grooming, healthy eating, and other topics
f) physical education: AYSO soccer for all eligible children
g) fine arts, including music: this will be included in our world cultures and geography exploration, by studying works of art and music from other cultures and creating our own original works that mimic these styles
h) first aid, safety, and fire prevention: this is considered a life skill, and will be treated as such through everyday instruction on injury prevention, basic first aid instruction as needed, and regular practice of our family fire escape plan
I'm not a HSer yet however I think it looks good. I am a former teacher and just wanted to mention, if you didn't know this already, that one thing that may help is if you go on your state's DOE website and look up what their objectives and goals are for your LO's grade. You may have known that already, tho
I think it looks fine.Similar to what I used to do.Only time I was ever rejected was when I just listed the textbooks I was planning to use for each subject.Then I wrote something like you did and it was accepted.
I have to include a list of what we're using too, most of it is like library card, zoo membership, art supplies, internet and laptop computers.......... lol The only things I actually listed were Miquon math, Explode The Code, and Handwriting Without Tears. Looks like we're going to have a rather relaxed unshooler-ish year for most subjects. I also have added a note at the bottom of the materials list and the outline page that it is for informational purposes only, and subject to change without notice as determined by the needs of our childrens' learning needs and their interests.
The only reason I listed astronomy and biology in science was because the kids expressed a desire to learn about astronomy, and I plan on doing a bit of plant biology while we watch our garden grow this year.
I think I'm just a bit nervous about submitting an outline that is so vague like that. I have ample textbooks and a couple Sonlight cores, but didn't want to listen them because I'm using pieces from all that stuff (just too much to list LOL)
