Hi Everyone…
I am a Certified Fraud Examiner in Birmingham, Alabama and in my spare time I am a freelance photographer. My husband is a pilot. My DS’s name is Jet; he will be three August 31. DH & I are in our mid 30’s.
After an unexpected and (thankfully) uneventful pregnancy, I began laboring August 29th, 2007; 56 hours later, via emergency c-section my son was born on his due date, August 31, 2007. I nursed him as long as I could until he weaned himself at 11 months.
He recently became potty trained (took 3 days) and hasn’t had an accident in over 2 weeks, and has never had an accident at naps or overnights. Astounding considering we never expected it to go this easily.
Less than two weeks ago we received a “Letter of Termination” from DS’s daycare. The letter included the reason of termination as: “he whines too much.” We were shocked to have found this letter in his diaper bag and not having had any parent-teacher conferences to address the issue(s). Today marks DS’s third day at his new daycare. This experience has traumatized us all. Hindsight is 20/20, changing daycares will be (and has been so far) a good thing for everyone.
