Babywearing question

I was planning on wearing Olivia (12 weeks almost) and do so at least once a day but it isn't like she loves it. I have a Moby which frustrates me at times and I loaned a Mai Tai (Papoose)which seems to be more convenient. Anyways either carrier Olivia wakes up crying and not so happy. She seems all bundled up when I take her out and stretches for a while after that. I know babies are supposed to love it and I am loving it (it is not my attitude about wearing her) when she is asleep in there, but it still is a bit of a hassle. I am thinking about trying a ring sling because it has more options and I think she might not like facing inward in the MT or Moby. I went to a babywearing meeting and there she liked all the carriers I tried on: HotSling, Babyhawk, Ring Sling. I was a bit discouraged to loan the ring sling cause it seems so complicated to use and loved the babyhawk but it seems to be a less flexible carrier in terms of positions. She loves being held and being in my or my husbands arms but doesn't seem to like being tied to my body I don't want to give up yet.

Don't give up. Many babies wake up scrunched, but that doesn't mean they don't love it before that time. Also, 3 months is a hard time to be a baby- it gets easier.
If you want to try to purchase another carrier, thebabywearer.com has a fantastic FSOT forum where you can purchase carriers to try for cheap. It's also a great forum to learn more about babywearing, etc.

My baby went through a phase right around that time where he'd fall very deeply asleep in the wrap and then wake up crying. I never figured out what exactly was going on, but I just kept wearing him, and the waking up crying thing didn't last.

Who knows! Babies are strange little people.
