We got one before ds turned three. he loves it! my sis and I grew up on one practically. We never got injured and you should have seen some of the ways we misused it (jumping off of trees/platforms onto it, flipping off of platforms into it, etc.)

We got one for our kids this past christmas and they enjoy it....but not as much as I thought they would. We do have the safety net and neighbour kids are only allowed on it if their parents have said it's ok. One bigger kid at a time, or a couple sall. Even my four year old who is 38 pounds barely makes the trampoline move because he's so light, so i'm not terribly worried about the little ones. We also double checked with our home insurance and we are covered for trampoline "injury" lawsuits and such. That was a big deciding factor.
