What would Polio look like in an adult who had both OPV & IPV in the 50's?
What might it look like in an adult who had IPV in the 80's?
Is it even possible for them to contact polio if exposed?
Both have suppressed immune systems for a variety of reasons. Live fairly near the border with Mexico in a high immigrant population.
I ask because both have had stiff neck, joint issues, etc mirroring one another WITH upset stomach. They called me to ask since they know I'm knowledgeable about vaxes, etc. The adult who had both vaxes in the 50 said she felt like her brother described way back then when he DID have a mild case of polio.
