Need Bowling Green info

Hi all!
My husband has just been offered a job teaching at WKU in Bowling Green. I would appreciate any information that you have to offer about the area. We would be moving from Austin, TX and are pretty crunchy.
*Does anyone have any recommendations for non-vax friendly pediatricians? Or is this going to be a huge problem?
*I would love to have a home birth next time around (not pregnant yet, but hope to be soon). We have 3 children so far and the last was born at a free standing birthing center. Our first was a c-section and I’ve had 2 very successful V-BACS. Does anyone know the name of a good home birth mid-wife?
*Is it hard to find a Dr. who is willing to do a V-BAC if I do have to go the hospital route?
*We will also be homeschooling. Does anyone have any info on homeschooling in the area or in KY in general?
*Any other info that you could give me about the Bowling Green area would be great.
Thanks so much!

I've lived in Bowling Green my entire life - our current house is only a block from WKU.

1. Ped - I have my boys on a delayed schedule, which my ped has been okay with. I'm not sure about non-vax entirely. My dr. is at Graves Gilbert Clinic.

2. I had a homebirth VBAC with DS2. KY is one of 11 states in the nation where CPM's are not legal. I got a midwife from TN. There are several there that are willing to come to BG for you.

3. There is a large homeschooling association here and many activities available to them. You might try googling "Barren River Homeschooling" since that's the regional name.

I hope you enjoy your move to BG!
