Past LP length with no BFP-- any chance?

My normal luteal phase seems to be between 9 and 11 days, based on my recent cycles. I'm now at 13 DPO with some minor spotting (almost-- it's more like pink or brownish CM and is only there when I wipe) and all BFNs.

If I were pregnant, I'd have to have a BFP by the end of my LP, right? There would have be enough hCG in my body to register on a test for my body to realize there was a baby and keep AF away, right?

What could be happening is my cycle is still evening out (I only just started Oing in November after a year off HBC) and my LP is lengthening (yay!), so either I have a longer LP and I'm not pregnant or I have a longer LP and I am pregnant.

But any thoughts or info you have would be so very helpful... I'm going crazy in this limbo!

at 13dpo I had SUUUUCH a faint bfp I would have sworn there was nothing there if I werent obsessive and peed on sticks 10 times that day.

Yet I had all the signs and symptoms of implantation/pregnancy as of 5/6dpo and on (of course that is only looking in retrospect, but in retrospect it was VERY obvious that that was when implantation happened)

Sometimes our bodies do not metabolize the HCG as fast as others... Im assuming I was metabolizing REALLY fast when I got the bfp with DD at 6dpo... I am also assuming had I had a quantative blood test by 11dpo I probably would have had a BFP but it took much longer than that to get concentrated in my urine.

My LP length is generally 13 days (af would almost always show on cd14) and it wasnt until cd15 that I got an undeniably clear line and a bfp on a digital.

That could really be the cause

or as you said, your cycle regulating still... which is ALSO a good thing, granted not as good as a BFP I know... but its better than what you were going through before.

I have a good friend who did not get a pos until she was several days past af being due. She felt pg, was late, just kept getting neg pg tests. When she did finally get a pos, it was super dark.

I'm not usually an early tester, but I did test on 11 dpo 2 months ago and got a faint positive. 2 days later there was no line. I also had some blood testing done. The RE's office called it an chemical pregnancy--which as I understand it basically means a very early miscarriage. My lp was a little longer. This had happened other times and when I'd tested on 16 dpo I got nothing and then bled the next day. All this to explain that a third option is that this could be a chemical pregnancy. AND there are tons of stories about people with BFNs at your stage that end up being pg. I hope that is the case for you.
