How fast did your 2yo's feet grow?

How fast do a 2yo's feet grow? If I buy sandals one size up from what he's wearing, will he be wearing them before fall, or would it just be wasted money? (I have a line on 2nd hand, good quality sandals for cheap).

Last year he was still growing fast enough I wouldn't have hesitated, but he's definitely slowing down, so really don't know.

Oh, and I should probably add that he just moved up one size a month or two ago. Obviously, that would make a difference!

My DD was in one size most of age 2, but after she hit 3.5 she went from a size 9 to a 12.5 in just 10 months. One pair of seasonal shoes I bought ahead of time never got worn and 2 pair were barely worn. I would only buy every day shoes ahead of time.

Thanks ssh, you're probably right. It's tricky here when even everyday shoes depend on the season (boots only in the winter).

If its a great deal, maybe you can buy them and resell them for the same amount if they aren't needed.

Shoe sizes are hard to predict.
