Really sore boob (just one!) in 3rd tri??

So when I went to bed last night everything was fine, but when I woke up this morning my left boob was killing me! It feels kind of like a blocked milk duct, except that I haven't even noticed any leaking colostrum yet. There's no redness or visible inflamation. Is it possible that it just has to do with the colostrum coming in? It feels like I'm bruised from about the inside edge of my bra down to the bottom. I tried to express anything that I could manually, but nothing came out. I've just never had this happen when I wasn't actually bfing yet!

Am I really the only one who's had this?? If anybody has any idea I'd be eternally grateful! The pain hasn't gotten any better so far. I've tried both heat and cold because I don't know which would be better : (

Ouch! I'm only 20 weeks and I've had colostrum for weeks so you definitely could have a clogged milk duct or even mastitis I would think. I also had an atypical staph infection in my breasts but that was after DD was born.

I would suggest calling your doctor or midwife. That sounds very painful!
