Supply and returning fertility

For you mamas who have had yoru period return, do you notice a decrease in yoru supply? If so, does it correspond to ovulation or the period?

I did notice a drop in supply with DS (I was pumping also, so I saw it happen). I don't remember which one it corresponded to, though. With DD, I haven't gotten my cycle back yet.

With DD1, my period returned at 4m post-partum. I noticed a marked decrease in supply at that time. I don't keep track of ovulation, and I didn't notice a decrease any other time of the month other than my period. It sucked! But we made it through!

ETA: My supply dropped about a day before my period and lasted about 2 days, so it wasn't for the entire duration of my period. Don't know if that's normal or not, but that's what it was for me!

My supply (as measured by pumping output) is always exactly the same no matter what. (Low, but stable.) It doesn't respond to changes in demand, diet, herbal supplements, drugs, illness, or anything else I can detect.

I just got my first ppaf last month and it didn't have any effect.

I got my first post-partum period at 10 months, and never noticed any supply difference. That is, until this month (my daughter's almost 3, so 35 months postpartum)- I'm pretty sure I ovulated twice (days 13 and 16 of my cycle), and there was a dip in supply during that span.
