how long should I wait?

How long should I wait for AF to come, before I test? I tested at 14 dpo (yesterday morning) and got a BFN. AF was due last night ... I'm so regular that she always comes in the middle of the night on the 27th day. Normally I would just go ahead and test, but I ran out of tests, so I'd have to go get some.

Are you sure of when you O'd? Sometimes we O later than we think we do.

I haven't been temping or using opk's so I don't know for sure, but AF is very regular. Has been for years.

You actually could be something like 10-14dpo then - I have a 26 day cycle and have a 10day LP - but I ovulate on day 16 or so, so if I was assuming I ovulated on day 14, then it would look like I had a 12 day LP, when in all honesty, I could be testing too early, kwim? Also, you can sometimes just have a random cycle - I'd give it a day or so, or pick up some $tree tests and test until you get AF or a BFP.

Do you remember when you last saw EWCM or was exceptionally in the mood? That might help us pin down an O date for you.

Yes, I had EWCM the 4th-8th, and then it went sticky. According to FF, I ovulated on the 7th, though I had what I think were O pains on the 9th.


Oh, and I have a 27 day cycle.

You know, I wonder if that pulling sensation you had for 3 days a few days ago was ovulation? I have that feeling for a few days before I actually ovulate. That would make sense then why AF is late, if you just ovulated.

Must have cross posted - ok, going by the 9th as ovulation date, that would put you at 13dpo today, so AF might be on her way tomorrow or the next day then.

Yeah, I'll have to give it a couple days I guess. It's so wierd though ... AF hasn't been late in years.

Can you get a blood test? My third pregnancy, I never got a positive HPT, all the way until seven weeks and a few days. It took begging my doctor for a blood test till 25dpo to get a positive.
