I realized I never posted my birth story. My c-section was 10 years ago, and this time around I knew I wanted a vaginal birth. I went into labor the morning of February 3rd, and was holding my very big girl in my arms at 3:22 that afternoon. Labor hit me hard and fast, which was a shock after my son's 40 hour labor/section. I spent the whole time in the birth pool until I realized that I needed more leverage to push. I moved to the birth stool and proceeded to push my hardest. I probably pushed a bit too hard, as I ended up with a significant tear that my midwife stitched up, but otherwise there were no complications. It was amazing to see this huge girl all wet and slippery! My son was under 8lbs, so her size was quite a surprise, but just proves that my c-section for CPD was total crap! Oh, and for what it's worth she lost her "biggest baby" status in my group of friends right away, as my two friends had 10lb 1oz and 10lb 5oz babies that same month.

GO MOM!!!! What an awesome birth story!!!! And congrats on that big girl! The big ones are always so cute cuz they got some meat on em!!! (I was 9'6)

I do envy your short labour though.
