The tugging was *weird* and made me feel out of breath, but it wasn't that bad. What shocked me was feeling all of the sudden an incredible lightness, and then realizing they had just pulled my son out of me. I was SO thankful that I was able to feel the sensation of him coming out of my body, even if it wasn't sliding up my wet body in a birth poll. I will never forget that sensation.
This exactly! My DS (unpanned section after days of labor) was very stuck in my pelvis and there was alot of tugging an pulling to get him unstuck and out. With DD , she was a footling breech. There was a little tugging and wiggle but more so I just experienced that feeling of lightness all of the sudden. I knew she was out and all of the sudden I had the lung capacity I had not had for months!
