I had my baby yesterday


After being totally convinced I was having a boy I was shocked and elated to find out she was a little girl!!

7lbs 12oz of yumminess 19.5 inches long.

Since she was an 'elective' c-section due to breech and double nuchal cord we're still in the hospital. The staff have been great and she still hasnt been bathed they've had no probs with us not getting eye gloop, hep B and we didnt have to put her in the nursery AT ALL. She co-sleeps with me here and no one has said a thing!!

So glad you had a great hospital experience! There are good hospitals out there - ours was the same way, in fact the nurse, after telling me that co-sleeping was forbidden per hospital policy, encouraged me to have the babies in bed with me anyway.

thankyou everyone. Molly is doing wonderfully now we're home. Having to use the nipple shield due to some latch issues and possible tongue tie, seeing a lactation consultant tomorrow to figure out what we should do next in order to ditch the shield.

Anyone have any exp. with clipping short frenulums?
