Getting vaxed as an adult

Thread Starter
I am totally anti-vax. However, I am about to start nursing school and the admissions guy was telling me what vaxes I HAVE to have in order to go to school there. He said I need an MMR, varicella, Hep B, tetanus, and I know there was another but my mind is blank. Anyway, I dont want to get these, I dont know what the rules are for having them as an adult. This is a private school, but they accept federal loans and such, dont know if that makes a difference. Any advice? I know I can get my titers tested, but what if I actually need one of them? I live in Colorado, btw.

You may be able to avoid them to attend school but you will need them for clinicals.

Have your titers tested, but only tell them if you 'pass'. Someone here told her school the actual numbers and though her numbers were enough for her to be considered immune by what ever the accepted standard is, her school said they were too low and said she had to be revaxed.

The thread isn't that old you may be able to search for it.
