I've also heard great things about GMD... I don't want to do the shipping overseas thing when we have some really great options made here in austria BUT I'd totally get some GMD if we were still in the states... I mean, I've never heard anyone complain about them actually

Throwing my 2 cents in about the MEOS - they're my favourite fitted. I really like the way they fit - really nice and trim without a doubler, and the doubler really makes them perform well. I like the leg openings - smoother than a truly elasticized fitted, and not very bulky. We've used both MEOS and Sandy's, and while I recommend them both, I prefer the OS.

That said, my DS can't wear natural fibre fitteds because anything that holds wetness against his skin brings him out in a nasty scald rash.

perdita: do you just use a fleece liner in the MEOS so that the wetness is wicked away or is that not even enough? if that's the case sorry you can't even use your favorite diaper!

also the company here, that is like mother ease (I think they are their old european manufacturer) has a version of sandy's and they look like they would fit well on some babies and not so well on others... or rather that they are less of a sure thing in terms of fit.

another MEOS thing I've hear about is "wing droop", what is that exactly? and how do people deal with it? is it something that can be remedied? or are there folks who don't have this problem?

thanks for keeping this thread alive ladies... when I do finally get to pick out my diaper stash I want to make sure its something we'll be happy with so all your feedback is really very helpful.
