Asthma in 2 yo, 4 rounds of steriods in 4 months

Our little 2 year has had a rough go with respiratory distress (asthma) the last 6 months or so, we have been forced to be on 4 rounds of steriods to treat his severe symptoms.

When he was a baby he had a writhing case of eczema, and we think this the other side of the same presentation

We really need some help to find a wonderful classical very experienced
homeopathic practitioner in the greater Southern California of Central Coast of California to help him through these cycles, and hopefully get off
all the meds as soon as possible

Really appreciate any suggestions on how to find the right person to help him, we are beside ourselves in coping with his cycles of respiratory distress.

Any other suggestions from any sage mommas would be much appreciated on what else have you done that has helped in such a situation.

Have you investigated food allergy or intolerance at all?

My son is in a similar boat, 3 rounds in 4 months. Although I can't offer you any advice, please let me know if you have any luck with classical homeopathy. I would be very interested in your experience.

Is he on anything to try to prevent the flairs? Anything (even inhaled steroids) are going to be easier on his body than multiple rounds of (I'm assuming oral?) steroids.

Singulair might help a lot. Is he being triggered by viruses or allergies or both? If you know his trigger I think you have a better chance of managing his asthma.

We have exhaustively looked at food allergies and eat a really clean, organic non-processed diet.

We are completing the oral steriods tomorrow and will be on 2 weeks of inhaled steriods in an effort to get some more control.

The more I look at it, homeopathy sounds like an amazing resource tool to gently and powerfully address the core issues, I am just trying to find a reputable, experienced practitioner.

Will report if I have some leads, if any of you mommas had any positive experience with any homeopath in treating such a case, can you let me know?

wish i could help more. both of my youngest kids have occasional issues with wheezing. dd2 is triggered by viruses and ds by viruses or exposure to his IgE food allergies. we have used short term albuterol treatments and oral steroids 2x for ds. if we avoid eggs and fish he is fine and has had many colds without wheezing too. have you posted in your tribal area to ask about a homeopath? i have done this before to find practitioners and had good referrals and quick feedback. i hope you find some answers for your little one soon. not breathing is no fun for anybody
