Please share your favorite grill recipes. If there isn't a link, please either post it here or reference the cookbook.

Share anything that will benefit other forum regulars but . . . I'm personally interested in any veg*n burger recipes that hold their shape well, because I haven't had any luck so far.

My favorite is cubes of Surata tempeh marinated in Isa's backyard BBQ sauce from Veganomicon, then grilled on skewers with veggies that have marinated in soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, and spices.

We don't barbecue much. I like fajitas made by marinating veggies and using one of those flat basket things. Carrots, onions, peppers. Green onions are good grilled, too.

I love camping food. We make foil packets with veggies and whole garlic and we top that with a riblet. Put that in the fire with corn and potatoes. That's probably the best meal on earth. We make enough to have leftovers in the morning.

Huh. Am I grilling veggies wrong? I can't be bothered with putting them in foil I just throw chopped veggies right on the hot grill (after coating them in some olive oil). Potatoes (cook first, cut, and then throw on BBQ just for the crispy factor), eggplant, green onion, white onion, tofu slabs, corn on the cob, whatever I have. We also do Tofurky Italian Sausage on the BBQ, too (we oil them and never leave them too long on the BBQ b/c they dry out). Already had a couple BBQs this year!

Oh yes, I do put one thing in foil with oil - garlic!

How do you keep the veggies from falling through the grill? That is the only reason why I use foil. We also got a veggie basket for the bbq but it is kind of a pain too.

I'd love to do tofu on the grill again. The times I've tried before it sticks & falls apart even if I oil the grill. What am I doing wrong?

mmmm..... this thread is making me DROOL!

This week DH is making me grilled mushrooms marinated in balsamic and garlic. I tell ya, the man is a saint.

And the corn! We brush corn with olive oil and add DH's special BBQ rub, then wrap in tin foil and grill. Yum yum yum. We live for corn season.

We also grill quesadillas. DH stuffs his with a variety of cheeses and adds some grilled veggies. I stuff mine with hummus and grilled veggies, then grill. Heavenly. They are so crunchy and good on the grill.

Thin-crust pizzas are also popular at my house. We make homemade herb dough and top with veggies then grill until crispy. The pizza needs to be moved and turned frequently to keep from burning, but the taste is excellent.
