DS is one of those kids whose nose is always runny. He'd be so much happier if he could blow it! He is 16.5 months old and increasingly annoyed by his bothersome nose (wipes at it with the back of his hand, has started to pick at it, etc) but can't do much about it. For a few weeks now, I've been endlessly demonstrating and trying to find tricks to get him to realize he can blow but nothing seems to work. He just laughs at me and doesn't seem to even understand that he could try.
Is he still too young to "get" nose blowing? Or are there tricks to teaching toddlers how?
Thanks for any advice you have!

not sure when that was... 18 months or so is my guess...
