Q about helping to educate others

Thread Starter
This doesn't directly apply to my SIL since she's having a baby girl in August and is getting her tubes tied right after since she never wanted kids to begin with, but she was asking questions and showing her very obvious pro-circ ideas.

A blog I follow mentioned a new Botox-like product being tested out now uses mainly foreskin cells collected from RIC. I posted it on my FB saying how we wouldn't have to worry about our boy's foreskins being injected into someone's forehead if we left them intact. She said something along the lines of not being able to imagine torturing a son by not circ'ing him. I feel that if I give her the links and videos that started my unquenchable thirst for reason why not to circ then she may change her stance on the issue ad may even pass it on to her friends! Kind of like paying it foreword!

What's the best way to go about doing this for someone so pro-circ, or should I just leave it alone?

Just to clarify...your sister in law thinks you tortured your son by not circing him???
You could either just drop it or maybe respond with something like "we are leaving him just as he was born and leaving the decision up to him". Then, maybe post a link to a circ video and/or something informative like this:

definitely respond with something. i don't know what would be most appropriate, but since she brought up torture, i might post a circ video. you know, ACTUAL torture.

you must be a fan of peaceful parenting? i think that's the one that had the botox story (which i haven't read yet, but plan to). i might 'suggest' peaceful parenting's page to her as well.

This one sounds like the she would like to remain ignorant. Sometimes beating your head up against a brick wall won't help.

My advice - pray for a girl!
