Hello everyone,
I'm a long-ago subscriber to Mothering (from the 1980s) and one of my best Christmas presents was when my DH bought me all the back issues around 1987 or '88. I just recently passed them on to my niece, who is a Mom to four and step-mom to two.
Cooking, organic gardening, and photography are my main interests outside my family. I'm also a retired La Leche League Leader. My elder daughter is now 22, in college and engaged. My younger daughter is (as she informs me on a daily basis now - LOL) going to be 17 on Mother's Day. She was actually born on Mother's Day and I always tell her she was my best Mom's Day gift ever.
It's so nice to find Mothering's online community.
