hi all, my 1 mo old has a supraumbilical hernia. from what little i could glean from the interwebs (and our ped), they do not close on their on and eventually DO require surgery -- although there is no rush if the little one is healthy (no need before a yr old it seems but i don't know how long they can wait).
has anyone else's little one experienced this? did you have the surgery done? when? what did it entail?
