Perhaps "threatened" might have been a better word than "scared." In any case, maybe some folks just can't handle someone who has their sh*t together!

I love not having much. With the line of work dh is in we travel a lot; so far we've been to SC, Canada, Spain, and Italy. Next on the list I believe is NC. We just recently bought furniture. I don't like having stuff around. I love to feel like I can basically pack up my stuff in a days notice and go. But we moved into our own small apartment and we needed some furniture...we have a couch, tv stand/tv/sound system dvd player, a dining room table, a bed, and that's it besides our pots and pans/dishes/ect. my dh and agreed that we would get nice pieces though, but not clutter our home. Our closets contain our clothes, i think we own 5 pairs of shoes a piece and those include sandals, tennis shoes, a dressy pair, casual pair and boots.
I don't know why people like a bunch of stuff, i would much rather have my space be uncluttered and use that money for savings or vacations.
