I've just started this weasley girl jacket for DD. Hopefully it will be ready as a Christmas present. I am not a fast knitter.

I'm also working on some winter socks for myself. They are just simple ribbed ones in some soft wool I got from freecycle.

Somehow winter is knitting time for me, something about the dark evenings so I expect my projects will start going a little quicker soon.

I will join in, I tried crocheting but am super duper slow so last night I sat there and watched lots of you tube videos and started knitting. I am making a hand towel for the kitchen and some washrags and then I want to make warm socks for Christmas gifts for people.

I love seeing all the idea and wonderful thing that are in progress. Hoping this thread inspires me and I can learn to read a pattern.

I am currently organizing my winter knitting queue. Trying very hard to stay on my yarn diet but two of the projects that I really want to do Chevron Lace Cardigan & Trout River require DK/light worsted yarn and I don't have enough of any to make a sweater.

Currently working my way through hubby's Cobblestone, finally on the yoke, and I cast on a Traveling Woman last week.

I just finished my lattice hat. It was a quick project for my flight home a few days ago. See pictures here and there. I really enjoyed this project once I understood what was going on. I'm currently knitting a bowtie scarf with the leftover yarn and some scraps to match it.

I'm trying to finish up a bunch of my unfinished projects, but the new ones that I'm working on are leg warmers, wrist warmers, I just finished some wrist warmers with skulls for my son who starts K next week, and am about to start him a hat that matches. I'm also thinking about holiday gifts.

Spinning myself silly

I am a new-ish spinner. I started in May of this year, and I it!!! I just have a drop spindle, but someday might be able to tackle getting a spinning wheel, you know, when I win the lottery. I am currently working on some naturally dyed raspberry pink mohair/ milk fiber blend. Once I have enough of something to knit, I imagine I will be spending some serious time on knittinghelp.com. In the mean time, spin spin spin, draft, and spin some more!

I've been working on a fall line of infant hats, and a few adult things for the shop that carries my work. Right now I've got a commission, 3 hats and a scarf. That ought to keep me busy for at least the next few weeks.

I still have plenty to keep me busy here... scarf to finish... blanket to finish, new pattern for a hat that I want to try out. Lots of yarn to use up.

I have 12 crochet swords to make by the end of this Month for my Son's pirate birthday party. I have 2 done.
I am also crocheting their Halloween Costumes which is a Knights costume. Funny thing is that I typically do not crochet something more than once. I get bored to easily. So this will be a testament to my patience making 12 of something and 2 of another. Very unlike me.
