Will my annuals be ok?

I live in nw nj and I had to fill my front cement pots a little early with annuals as I put my house on the market and I wanted it to look nice. Now we will be coming on some rainy cool days for about 3 days. the temps will be in the 50s but not freezing or below. The pots are too big to bring in. What can I do and will the plants die? Should I cover the pots with something? cloth or plastic? TIA

I would just leave them and replace if needed. It shouldn't cost to much to get more annuals.I have a lot of plants coming up,and the weather is getting nasty.I can't cover everything,so survival of the fittest!

Temps in the 50's for a few days and some rain sound like perfect conditions to give the new transplants a solid start to me! I bet they'll look great once they get some sun to wake them up

Thanks Erinz, so far they're still kicking. I had my open house today and since we couldn't stay, we snuck back to see how many cars were there and there were lots. Hope we get an offer or two!
