Ichy underarms

Most times, when I nurse DS, my underarms get itchy. Usually in the last few minutes of his feeding. What the heck?! Am I the only one? What causes this?

Interesting. I hope someone can explain it for us!

I have felt this too, the only thing I can think of is that some people have milk ducts that extend toward their armpits and it is the milk moving through them. I know that I have ducts like this because as my milk came in I got aump in my armpit that dissappeared a few days later.

I used to have the worst itchy armpits until I switched to aluminum-free deodorant. I don't know why your itchy is being aggravated by nursing, but you could always try switching to an aluminum-free deo and see if that helps.

Thanks.
Most of the time I don't wear Deo. I don't need it. On my off days that I don't shower I wipe under my arms and that's good enough to keep me from stinking
But I do occasionally wear it so I'll definately watch to see if those are the days it itches when I nurse. And if so I will definately switch. Thanks
