Small (ish) elements you love about your home? - Page 2

We've got music in multiple rooms--DH does audio/video stuff for a living--and we've got it set up so our laptops stream the music to the receiver, so we can listen to internet radio. That's pretty nice. (Along those lines, I love the fact that DH set up an RF receive system with a custom remote control, so the cable box, DVD player and audio equipment are all in a closet in the hall!) If you want some quick ideas about distributed audio, send me a PM and I'll give you DH's email address. He should be able to at least give you some brands to look into.

I also love our front porch--great for sitting and watching the neighborhood, and we've met friends that way since we have a bike path right out front.

I love the fact that we have a big mudroom (13x13) on the back of the house, and we're going to revamp it a little bit this summer so that the storage is better and it will include a messy play area.

Like MisaGoat, I also like my built in soap dispenser and pull out spray faucet. I also have a garbage disposal button right on the sink. It works on a puff of air... it's like this one.

I LOVE this thread.

How sad is it that I can't think of a single thing? I mean, there are a lot of things I don't hate, but things I love...?

Oh wait--I love we have a breakfast nook. The table & chairs were way too much of a space grabber.

We replaced the open shelving/desk area in the kitchen with utility cabinets. I LOVE not seeing clutter there!

I love my purple velvet duvet cover. But that doesn't really count, does it?

I love having two refrigerators and deep freeze.
