refresh my memory please

Thread Starter
I seem to have forgotten what I did with my first.
My little one just started solids; do I have to rinse every poopy diaper now? We're not consistent about solids every single day so sometimes his poops are like ebf poops and sometimes they're not. So far he's only eating yams.

Once rinsed is it ok to but them in the PUL bag until wash day (every 2-3 days)even though they're pretty wet ?

Thanks.

I never rinsed the BF poo diapers. I just ran a cold rinse cycle before running the hot wash. As far as the more solid poo goes, I just kind knocked it off into the toilet and then tossed the diaper into the dry pail. If it was a horribly sticky, I would spray it off sometimes but after a year I got lazy. Now I just knock what I can off and then do a short cold wash/rinse before my hot wash cycle. Everything comes out clean, minimal stains and no smell.

With all 4 of my babies, I've dumped solid poops in the toilet, sprayed the dipe w/diaper sprayer and chucked it into the pail super wet (I've always used a dry pail) I wash dipes every 2 days or so and never had any problems.

We're at that in between phase right now where the poo is not really solid and not really ebf. Some days I use a flushable liner (when I remember), and sometimes I just wash as is. It's not like there's much I can really put into the toilet. If it's solid enough to plop off, I definately do. I don't use a diaper sprayer. For the most part, it all comes out clean. I'm also getting used to a new HE machine, so I'm not sure if the stains are because I haven't rinsed, or because of the new machine.
