Turkey with additives vs venison from wild

Hi!
I've been on a TED for 5 days now, eating only turkey, sweet potato, zucchini, and pears. I'm visiting my parents now, and I didn't realize that it would be difficult to find turkey free of additives here. However my Dad is a hunter, he has a freezer full of venison that he shot himself in the Wyoming wilderness. Truly "free range." Which should I eat?
Oh. I'm doing the TED to try to heal my son's allergic colitis- and then find out what he's allergic to. He's 10 weeks. I don't have any known sensitivities, and I haven't eaten any of said vension since I got pregnant with this baby.
Thanks,
Lisa

I would go for the venison.

ETA - and take a bunch back home with you! Even if you don't use it on the elimination diet, it's great protein and fat for a nursing mom.

I'd do the venison too.
