Why has my milk production suddenly seemed to have doubled??

Babe is now 4 and a half months so long past a steady feeding cycle. NOTHING has changed in my life...not diet, caloric intake, or her feeding times. She still pretty much nurses whenever she's hungry...however I've started getting sore in about the last 5 days. I get very full and my boobs almost look like they've gone up another size. On top of that I'm leaking again. I just got that around control when I established my milk supply, around 6 weeks. Then leaking was rare. Now it's all the time again.

Any insight is greatly appreciated

My lil one is 4 months old and my right "friend" is very full w/ milk .. it could be a growth spurt, nothing to worry about

I agree with Claudia: growth spurt!

Have you noticed this before? If you keep a nursing journal, you may find that this has happened several times since you started nursing. It's totally normal.
