Need help in choosing a ring sling

I have an almost 8 week old that I would like to start carrying around in a ring sling. I have a baby bjorn that works for a little bit and also a peanut shell carrier that he doesn't care for too much (paid $70 for ). So, I would like to explore the ring sling, but am not very educated about them.

So, what are the best sites to visit? What's a good price to spend on one. Especially if he doesn't like it, I don't want to spend a ton of money. Any other recommendations?

Check out her site, there is a ton of great info on slings.

I also love the Sleeping Baby Productions slings. They are great quality and affordable slings. FYI, though, she will be closing the store May 20-30 to go on vacation with her family. I used Zolowear ring slings with my kids...they were so great and i used them a lot! They are still in great shape and i was able to pass them on to friends now that my kids are too large for the slings.

I really like my lightly padded maya wrap. But it can get warm.

is there a babywearing group in your area? it really helps to try a couple on and see how they feel on you. I'd expect to spend 50-60+ dollars if it's new, but you can check craigslist and fsot boards for deals on gently used ones.

This, I LOVE my Zolowear sling! I have used it since my baby was a couple weeks old, and now at 4.5 months, she still loves it!
